The result of the discussion was delete. There's a thorny problem with the WP:CC redirect; looking at whatlinkshere a lot of people have used it as shorthand for consensus. It should probably be raised at RfD. Mackensen (talk) 15:10, 8 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Commons categories (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

This has been here since 2006, yet it has no relevance to this project. I don't see why we need it here. There are plenty of more pertinent pages like Wikipedia:Categorization and Wikipedia:Overcategorization that do the job nicely. — This, that, and the other (talk) 10:46, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - I considered marking as historic. However, the page originated as "This is exact copy of the commons page of the same name (less the Wikipedia prefix) from [ [commons:Commons_categories]] to be specific (Iterim save."[1] Ho the page history is else where. About six months later, Gurch remarked, "This is not a guideline here. apart from anything else, it doesn't even make sense in the context of Wikipedia, because it talks about Commons categories and how things are done on Commons."[2] The page doesn't appear to have provided any forward movement of Wikipedia. It seems like an idea in Wikipedia that never was fleshed out. Delete. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 08:12, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
