The result of the debate was tag as historical. bibliomaniac15 20:58, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Never used, inactive, redundant. Need I say more? Majorly talk 01:11, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

- Tag as inactive or maybe even an essay. It's not really a bad idea. -- Ned Scott 03:52, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Tag as inactive - it's kinda neat, actually. Pity it's not come to much, though - Alison ❤ 09:04, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Tag as inactive - Great idea, not executed though. Shame. Asenine 09:31, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Tag as inactive and keep as historical. Majorly, you've yet to actually specify what this is redundant to. So to answer your question, yes, you need to say more than eight words for a nomination statement. Synergy 10:20, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- It's redundant to Template:Adminhelp. Majorly talk 10:36, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Comment - Given the above, I put an {{essay}} tag on it, but {{inactive}} seems made for WikiProjects, so I didn't put it up. Cheers, everyone. lifebaka++ 11:08, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Followup - Given the nature of what was supposed to happen... Asenine 11:54, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Keep This is an essay, and what could be a useful idea. The fact that it progressed no further seems to be a rather poor justification to bring an article to MfD. If the "solution" is to apply an inactive tag, that could have been done without invoking MfD. Alansohn (talk) 15:38, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Keep There are many of us who tend to check each other in a friendly way-- and a formal place to say so might not be a bad idea.... 19:03, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Tag as inactive per above --Admrb♉ltz (t • c • log) 19:29, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Keep. It was tagged as an essay, and {{inactive}} is for WikiProjects, so it is not appropriate there. Not much to do here... Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 19:45, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Keep and Tag as inactive. Cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 21:53, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Tag as essay. It's not currently active, but the idea is good. {{inactive}} is for WikiProjects. Bart133 t c @ How's my driving? 22:43, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Comment "Essay" isn't correct labelling, it's a community initiative that hasn't gotten off the ground. I know tagmania is rampant these days, but maybe, just maybe, we can expect that admins can look at page history and assess liveliness for themselves? :-) As to keep/delete, I'm OK either way. Stan (talk) 23:49, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Tag as inactive Keep, seems like a reasonable idea that didn't get the proper PR firm to help with the marketing. Maybe it will take off at a later date, I've seen it with other projects. Lazulilasher (talk) 12:40, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Tag with {{historical}}. As has been pointed out, the idea isn't half bad, and there's more chance of it being revived if it isn't deleted than if it is. EVula // talk // ☯ // 15:30, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Tag as inactive with {{historical}} as per the usual practice. —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 21:18, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Keep, it appears inactive so if someone wants to place an inactive tag I don't imagine anyone would object. As to the nom, yes, you do need to say more—I'm not clear what it's redundant to, it has been used (if little), and, well, what's the rationale for deletion? If something goes inactive, we tag it historical or inactive, I fail to see the need for deletion. Seraphimblade Talk to me 02:04, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- Keep as essay. Opinions, ideas, reflections, whatever, about wikipedia are important, and should be kept without a good reason to delete. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 13:44, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
