The reasons for deletion of a similar page back in 2008 - see: Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Dr. vivek Kumar Pandey - still aplly. The (apparently self-)promotion continued, withy a recent deleted article - Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vivek Kumar Pandey, quite the same process as in 2008... see Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Dr._Vivek_Kumar_Pandey. - WikiProject Abandoned Drafts is a new one to me. I therefore took a look, whereupon I read: Several Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of article drafts kept in retired user's subpages and the organization of information and articles on this topic. I have no reason to think that the autobiographer has retired, or that he hasn't already put the greatest effort into demonstrating his notability. He is, after all, Honored by having his name included in list of "TOP 100 SCIENTISTS 2010" of International Biographical Centre (IBC), Sponsored & Administered by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England according IBC letter Ref. TOPSC/inv (an imprint of Melrose Press Ltd. Registered in England (No) 965274). - Hello 59.94.117.195. First, a comment. You talk of an "article". But this isn't an article, it's a user page. Secondly, a question. I notice that that was your first edit from this IP, and that two minutes later you made this edit to User:Vivek Kumar Pandey. Now, either (A) you are Vivek Kumar Pandey or (B) you are not. Keep. A 3-4 year old page need delete in this way. Admin can self modify the page and also can suggest Dr. Pandey not to edit more in future. I find here that Hoary have some pre-enemity with Dr. Pandey therefore he is seeing every where to Pandey and suggested for deletion his user page. - This is not an article but a user page we're talking about (although articles are relevant to its history). The basic idea is that User:Vivek Kumar Pandey edits Wikipedia in a way that benefits Wikipedia, and then is free to create a user page that helps others, that contains memory aids for himself, that modestly describes Wikipedia-relevant aspects of himself for the benefit of other editors, or that does some combination of these. (As a fairly typical example, see this, the user page of Nabla, who started this deletion discussion.) This user page is utterly different; please read and digest this explanation. ¶ As for me, I have no opinion on V K Pandey or any other Pandey; I do object to the misuse of Wikipedia for promotional purposes. Still, if you're unconvinced and think that I'm impeding fair discussion, you can obtain a username, log in under it to make some Pandey-unrelated contributions to articles (and thereby convince me that you have the best interests of Wikipedia at heart), and then, still under that username, tell me what's wrong. -- Hoary (talk) 10:06, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Keep.I hope people are seeking information from the source [2] and modified this page but not the Vivek Kumar Pandey himself. I found very few edit from Vivek Kumar Pandey. I want to tell admin that the popularity of Pandey increased due to his famous blog Vivekanand and Modern Tradition and this is reason the different Allahabad University IPs are keen to edit his page as per our information. I want to say that the Hoary is the person who also suggested for deletion the page of Prem Chand Pandey who also belong to the village of Vivek Kumar Pandey and became able to justify this deletion. He is not his own uncle but he used to say uncle because they belongs with the same village. Let me give one more chance. Please do not say any thing to Hoary. I request him to modify my page if possible. I am not very experiences user but if get the chance I will improve myself. I modified my user box as per my best knowledge and request admin to keep me as user on wikipedia. It is four year old user therfore let give one more chance. Keep. User: Vivek Kumar Pandey was on Wikipedia: Bureaucrats Request for renaming user‎: with User:Vivekkpandey. "User:Vivekkpandey" [3] was very old and it renamed to User: Vivek Kumar Pandey by Bureaucrats, thus it says there was no problem with the user page at the time. Keep. The user page is in suitable format for user page in wikipedia and also the user is only "Wikipedian in Allahabad" as I found from his page and wikipedian category page. Comment. I removed the section "Responsibilities and research he carried". I want to clear here that I used the Allahabad University IP wireless and some time Cyber Cafe for login thus I am not sure who another is also using the Allahabad University IP or Cafe IP for the discussion on page related with me. As Hoary say article is not suitable this indicated that the my user:vivekkpandey which renamed as User: Vivek Kumar Pandey can be edited to make suitable for user page. I already invited Hoary and other user to edit my page for making a suitable user page. Terraxos's words are applicable today, three years later. After logging out and voting keep multiple times, and finding that consensus does not rest with his position, the user makes last-minute changes to preserve his biography on Wikipedia. Given the long history of disruption, I recommend that the user contribute to Wikipedia for a few months before recreating a user page, especially one with so many promotional external links. Keep. User page is neutral one and contribution of the user is remarkable. Being first wikipedian he can promote the others from Allahabad. The most of the IPs in discussion are from UP and most of Allahabad as I guess but theire suggestion to protect the user page is genuin. Pandey have now stable job in Allahabad University therefore he can give most important contribution to Wikipedia using his personal computor with this user page. In past what was it should not count.
