Sakifahmed is essentially a single purpose account. Almost all edits have been part of attempts to get an article about himself, with a few more edits being adding promotion for a company he works for.
He created a user sapce draft of his article on 22 March 2012, and made it into Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sakifahmed on 23 March 2012. The submission was declined later the same day. He removed the "declined" notice, and it was declined again on 23 April 2012. He decided to ignore the two declines by two different editors, and moved his userspace draft to the article Sakifahmed on 17:44, 23 April 2012. In just under two hours it was deleted under speedy deletion criterion A7, despite his repeated removal of the speedy deeltion tag. While it was waiting to be deleted, he resubmitted the Articles for creation draft, without making any changes to it. Unsurprisingly, it was declined again. User:Sakifahmed was changed from a redirect to another copy of the draft article by an IP user, perhaps Sakifahmed, on 24 April 2012. Since then, it has been edited occasionally by various IPs from the same ISP, geolocating to the same place. One of the IPs has removed a {{user page}} template from the page. Wikipedia:User pages#Pages that look like articles, copy pages, project pages says "Userspace is not a free web host and should not be used to indefinitely host pages that look like articles, old revisions, or deleted content", which is exactly what this user page is being used for. It does not relate to editing Wikipedia, and the user has done virtually no other editing of Wikipedia. It should be deleted as a WP:STALEDRAFT. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:11, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
- It looks like he made some edits today to escape the SPA label. Userpage is too promotional. I suggest this instead. Use blocks if the user repeatedly adds promotional material to Wikipedia (whether mainspace, userspace or anywhere). --SmokeyJoe (talk) 06:42, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Delete - per WP:STALEDRAFT. Sakifahmed can adopt SmokeyJoe's version later, if desired. However, I think we need to get an MfD delete on record to gain some control over the situation after the MfD ends. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 05:05, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
