The result of the debate was Delete. Xoloz (talk) 15:12, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
Spam for a T-Shirt website, user has no useful contribs and none since Oct 2007 RichardΩ612 16:57, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Keep and cleanup - Most of the page adheres to WP:UP in that it describes the user and their interests, but I agree that the spam portion needs to go. I'll hold off on cleaning it up myself until after this MfD closes. --jonny-mt 03:54, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - user has no mainspace contributions and has not edited since October. Wikipedia is not a free web host. MER-C 08:59, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - Per WP:UP#NOT. ChetblongTalkSign 20:43, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- I agree with MER-C. The editor has zero contributions, deleted or otherwise, other than xyr user page and an image advertising a product that xe sells. Delete. Uncle G (talk) 22:35, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- Comment - I just want to remind commenters on this MfD that a lack of contributions is not a viable reason for deleting a userpage--pages of inactive (or never active) users are generally preserved unless there is a specific reason not to do so (e.g. courtesy blanking, a violation of WP:UP). As such, if you feel there are specific reasons for this particular page to be deleted, I encourage you to illustrate them. --jonny-mt 08:53, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Please familiarize yourself with this project's long-standing official policies. Having zero contributions to the project has been a reason for deleting a user page for several years, now. I've used, and others have used, this rationale for all of that time. And it is firmly based in policy that has been in effect since the inception of the project and documented since 2002, only a short while after the concept of user pages came into existence (January 2002). Wikipedia is not a free web host for people to have personal home pages on. One doesn't earn the right to a user page simply by dint of creating an account. - Delete User is not here to construct an encyclopedia, and is advertising products which is against our guidelines and policies (WP:NOT). PrestonH 02:18, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete blatant advertising. if the user really wants everyone to know that he sells shirts let him say so WITHOUT a link, prices, or any other such information. SJMNY (talk) 07:17, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
