Possible advertisement, probable hoax (nothing in Google), probable COI Orange Mike | Talk 22:29, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- clarifying comment I got nothing from Googling for this guy; don't know what that says about my google-fu skills! My apologies; but it's still spammy as all getout, especially with that header on it. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:21, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- Which header? Do you mean the words "Jim Jet Neilson", or something else? --Metropolitan90 (talk) 03:41, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
- "From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia" --Orange Mike | Talk 15:31, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
- The phrase "From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia" appears on every single page in Wikipedia, including user pages. I don't see how it constitutes spam for a user to copy the phrase into the text of his user page. If the phrase automatically appears on his user page anyway, what's wrong with him having it appear twice? --Metropolitan90 (talk) 07:14, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
- It seems to be placed at the top of the page by this s.p.a. in an effort to disguise his userpage as a properly-edited Wikipedia mainspace article. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:36, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

- Delete - moroever, is probably a recreation of Jim Jet Nielson. // roux 22:40, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Why would that be a problem? --Metropolitan90 (talk) 05:07, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- Because the article was already speedied as A7? // roux 05:10, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- A7 doesn't apply once the content is placed in userspace, and a speedy deletion doesn't implicate WP:CSD#G4 for re-creation of deleted content. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 09:13, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

- Keep as the person is not a hoax [1] [2] and so on. O suppose COI is possible, but not patently obvious. Collect (talk) 22:44, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Keep - it is an identical recreation of Jim Jet Nielson. However the claims in here make this character notable if he actually existed. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 00:16, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- Speedy keep. Contrary to the nom, there are numerous Google hits for "Jim Jet Nielson" [3], including this reliable source which incidentally mentions him as the owner of the world's fastest limo. And if we are going to start deleting user pages for conflict of interest, then we are going to have to delete every single user page in Wikipedia. User pages are supposed to be created and edited by their subjects. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 02:09, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- Delete Inappropriate use of userspace. Certainly it's permissible to describe yourself on your userpage, but it isn't permissible to advertise yourself on your userpage. That's an important distinction, and one that this userpage fails.—Kww(talk) 17:00, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- Delete what KWW said, inappropriate use of userspace as advertisement. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 23:13, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. While the text is not very long, the content is entirely and aggressively self-promotional and non-WP-related. Violates WP:UP#NOT, item 7. Nsk92 (talk) 10:59, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
