WP:UBX guidelines: "Avoid negative verb phrases which can be potentially divisive, such as: dislikes, despises, hates, loathes" AnAwesomeArticleEditor (talk) 00:00, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - copying part of my rationale from a similar MfD here: Semantics is not a blunt tool, and the guideline says "avoid" rather than "do not use" because context is everything (hence "potentially divisive"). To say that you hate labels is not directed against any other person, and so it's not in fact divisive. --bonadea contributions talk 14:52, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep The word "hate" in this context isn't being used against a group of people or a person. Also, I like this userbox, it's a statement against stereotypes and putting labels on people which are bad things. I see nothing wrong with this userbox. • I wish to withdraw the nomination; you bring up valid points and I've changed my mind on the nomination. AnAwesomeArticleEditor (talk) 00:47, 9 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
