Draft:CheFEM App (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

A cursory internet search does not find any mentions of CheFEM, outside of the company that makes it. Kees08 (Talk) 05:54, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Comment - "The internet sources on the software are limited (but definitely not solely producer) because it is specialist software. The software is used by reputable research and commercial organizations around the globe. Furthermore, I have had the repeatable impression that two key references were not rigorously checked; for example: in the first reference the use and added value of CheFEM is described thoroughly and independently in a research context. The second reference, is on a session organized by Stanford University. In my opinion the "advert card" has been played too easily by the editors, maybe because the contents is not their direct field of expertise.

Last but not least: more research oriented publications are on its way; but realize that for new software packages this takes some time in academics.

Nevertheless, I think that the software principles (the quantification of chemical interaction in the mechanical response of polymer and composites), should already have their place in Wikipedia.

Kind regards, Stuart Green

PS. Thanks Kees08 for moving my feedback to this area.

Please advice, as I do not agree on the deletion." - From Stuart.J.Green on talk page, I have notified the user that I placed their comment on this page. Kees08 (Talk) 23:34, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
