7 Days of Latinifying Wikipedia

Welcome to the 7 Days of Latinifying Wikipedia challenge!

In the spirit of #100wikidays and other editing marathons, this is a focused micro-challenge to celebrate Latino and Hispanic heritage on Wikipedia. For 7 continuous days, your mission is simple:

  • Create a new article about Latino or Hispanic history, culture, or figures.
  • OR add a new reference to an existing article within this theme.
  • OR improve the style and readability of an article related to Latino or Hispanic topics.

Why participate?

Because Latino and Hispanic voices and stories deserve more coverage and accuracy on Wikipedia! This challenge is also a great way to:

  • Practice sustained editing
  • Build your editing habit

Rules

  • Do 1 action per day (new article, new ref, or style improvement)
  • Do it for 7 days in a row – no cheating, no catch-ups!
  • Focus on topics relevant to WP:LATINOS or Latino/Hispanic heritage
  • You can join at any time, but try to keep the streak!
