The only way this image could be PD in the US is if it were a UK government image. However, the Daily Mail asserts that PA holds the copyright, which suggests that this is a news image instead. While there may be an argument for use at Ronald George Maddison, it would probably have to be removed at least from Porton Down. Felix QW (talk) 17:12, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - The source page does state "Creative Commons" in the footer with a link to a CC-BY 2.5 license. However, I doubt that the image is under such a license as it looks like a manufacturers press photo and as the nominator notes, is available elsewhere in a higher resolution. The license can cover any material produced by the site, such as the text, but I don't think that this image is made by the site. -- Whpq (talk) 19:36, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
