Orphaned file, only intended for use on the deleted article Ellex Medical Lasers. No foreseeable encyclopedic use. ✗plicit 05:17, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- Delete, orphaned with no obvious value. Salavat (talk) 08:37, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- Explicit, could be used for d:Q4038008 and w:ru:Ellex Medical Lasers if copied to Commons. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 10:11, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Alexis Jazz: Maybe the official SVG should be uploaded to Commons instead? --Elephanthunter (talk) 18:37, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
- Elephanthunter, wouldn't hurt if someone did. But that logo has a white circle on a transparent background which (by default) doesn't show well on Wikimedia projects which use a white or light background. The grey version in this png is also found at the bottom of [1] so it's official as well. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 00:46, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
- Fastily I'm curious where nova-eye.com comes from? I don't see the logo there. I thought I had added [2] to the source field but I guess I forgot? — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 01:38, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- Good catch, I copied the wrong link. Thanks for letting me know -FASTILY 01:40, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- Fastily, ah, now it all makes sense! Thanks for moving the file to Commons, it's now used on wikidata and ruwiki.

A photo of Dr. Jan Nico Scholten and Archbishop Desmond Tutu (according to the caption on Association of European Parliamentarians with Africa) that was uploaded in 2007, "AWEPA, www.awepa.org" summary with {{PD-self}} license. I see no way to determine copyright status. The archived version of awepa.org doesn't seem to help. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 09:21, 31 July 2021 (UTC)

- File:Enchantress (Marvel Comics) art by Alan Davis.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Erikacornia (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
Going through the history of this file, it's a mystery..
- Originally there was the description "Character design for the Enchantress, Amora of Asgard, by Alan Davis. ©Marvel Comics." but no source.
- Directly afterwards the uploader added "source: http://www.rapsheet.co.uk/".
- Ww2fan2004 inserted http://img176.imageshack.us/my.php?image=enchantressultimateallivw8.jpg (dead)
- Ww2fan2004 replaced that link with http://www.marveldirectory.com/pictures/individuals/e_1d/enchantress.gif (different image, even back in 2007)
- In 2008 the uploader added that link as the source as part of a fair use infobox.
- The uploader also added "Cover of the Vision and the Scarlet Witch (v.2) #9, 1983. Art by Richard Howell and P. Craig Russell. ©Marvel Comics source: www.milehighcomics.com" in 2008. (which doesn't seem to include this image) but undid that edit right away, so presumably that was an error.
This is so confusing. What's the source? And what about the fair use rationale? It's use in the infobox was replaced in 2008 and an IP editor re-added the image elsewhere in the article. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 10:09, 31 July 2021 (UTC)

Image from Iran. Iran has no copyright treaty with the US, so PD in the US but actually not acceptable for us. I fell into the same trap before knowing about Wikipedia:Public domain#Countries without copyright treaties with the US. {{PD-USonly}} has been clarified since. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 11:23, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- Delete Per nomination. There are plenty of free options over at Commons to replace this in the article if necessary, but honestly the article is already full of images. --Elephanthunter (talk) 19:07, 6 August 2021 (UTC)

- File:Doctor G Film.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Iamrajdeepdas (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
This non-free photo is stated to be a film poster and used as primary visual identification. However, this is not a film poster. It is a photo of actor Ayushmann Khurrana holding a copy of the film script and as such does not fulfill the role of visual identification as claimed. Fails WP:NFCC#8. Whpq (talk) 12:24, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- Comment:@Whpq: I might be wrong but sources like this (https://www.bollywoodhungama.com/movie/doctor-g/) and this (https://www.filmibeat.com/bollywood/movies/doctor-g.html) are confirming that it is a poster. - Iamrajdeepdas (talk) 13:15, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- How so? None of them state it is the poster for the movie. Whpq (talk) 21:10, 31 July 2021 (UTC)

Essentially per Talk:Pornhub#Is_the_Screenshot_truly_necessary? - The image in question displays the homepage of a pornographic website however it doesn't really help the reader in any way,
All websites look different/unique however for these sort of websites bar minimal design the design and imagery are virtually the same. I don't really know why I uploaded the file I can only assume I believed I was being helpful at that time but times change, opinions change and now I don't believe this image is helpful to anyone at all. Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 15:48, 31 July 2021 (UTC)

A uploader: Doesn't really help the reader in any way - It's just a blank search page with logo in the middle ....
Again no idea why I uploaded this but again maybe I assumed I was being helpful. Thanks –Davey2010Talk 15:51, 31 July 2021 (UTC)

- File:Stuntman 2018 poster.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by DisneyMetalhead (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
Per WP:NFCCP #8, Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the article topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding. There is already an image being used in the article that is very similar to this image. The removal of this image will not change the readers understanding of the topic of this article. BOVINEBOY2008 23:20, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
- Disagree - The inclusion of this poster is intended to show the contrast and comparison between to two releases of the film. First in 2018 at the LAFF, and now secondly on Disney+.--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 01:52, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
- You just successfully shared that information with text and the image was not necessary to explain that. The second poster does not "significantly increase readers' understanding" that the film was released on Disney+. BOVINEBOY2008 01:59, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

- Bovineboy2008, assuming one poster is enough (no opinion on that right now), the question is which one to keep? As this one (File:Stuntman 2018 poster.jpg) is supposed to be the original I'd argue we should keep this one and discuss deletion of File:Stuntman official poster.jpg. DisneyMetalhead, please don't upload images from IMDb. IMDb is a wiki, not an authoritative source. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 03:57, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
- Having two similar posters fails WP:NFCC#3a. Keep File:Stuntman 2018 poster.jpg as the original poster from 2018 and Delete File:Stuntman official poster.jpg as the streaming poster from 2021. Aspects (talk) 14:44, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
Relisting comment: Tagging File:Stuntman official poster.jpg for deletion per discussion.

- I am not opposed to keeping the older poster and deleting the newer. BOVINEBOY2008 10:58, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
- Keep the 2018 poster and delete the current release poster simply based on 2018 being the original release, but I am not strongly in that position. I'd be okay with it being the other way around. The key is only one poster is needed. -- Whpq (talk) 17:35, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
