This non-free still from a movie is being used to "support his lead role in a major film" in an article about the actor. This fact is expressed in the text and does not need an image to make the point. The removal of the image would not detract from a reader's understanding of the article about the actor. - I disagree because a picture is worth a 1,000 words. Readers who haven't seen the movie may not appreciate his lead role and therefore jump to the conclusion that it's not even a lead role. - Delete per nomination. We don't keep non-free images until someone comes up with a better one; we keep them when the satisfy all ten of the criteria listed here. As pointed out by the nominator, this screenshot doesn't comply with NFCC#1 because a non-free image is not needed for the reader to understand an actor appeared in a particular role (even in a starring role) and this is something which can be more that adequately supported by text and a citation to reliable sources; moreover, a non-free image of a still living person is pretty much never going to be allowed regardless as explained in item 1 of WP:NFC#UUI and this actually should've been tagged with {{rfu}} for speedy deletion per WP:F7 without any need for discussion at FFD. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:35, 10 August 2021 (UTC)

- Delete: The file was uploaded back in 2007 and the uploader hasn't edited since 2013; so, I'm not sure this can be sorted out through the uploader via WP:CONSENT and WP:VRT. The bottle shape is utliatrian enough to be PD per c:COM:CB#Utility objects, but the labeling is almost certainly protected per c:COM:Packaging and its the labeling which matters most here. This could be converted to non-free if the label is the primary source of branding for Harlan Estate, but really the bottle imagery isn't needed for that purpose; so, it might simply be better to look for something better on www
.harlanestate which could be used for identification purposes in the main infobox. The file's other use in Cult wine can't be justified if this is converted to non-free use. Blurring the label could work, but then basically all you'd have is a bottle of wine for which there most like already exist tons of other images on Commons; so, one is most likely not needed. Finally, the last thing to consider is whether the uploader actually took this photo. There's no EXIF data to speak of and the {[tl|PD-sekf}} license can only possibly apply to the photo; if it's determined that the image was created by someone else (i.e. c:COM:NETCOPYVIO), then file can't be kept regardless without the CONSENT of whoever created the image. So, there are two copyrights at play here: one for the photo and one for the bottle's labeling. If we can't sort out the first, the file can't be kept regardless; if we can sort out the first, then adding a non-free license for the label seems possible but it would probably be better just to find another image whose en:provenance is clearer to use for the branding of the winery. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:54, 10 August 2021 (UTC).com
