Critical commentary about Cyndi Lauper's version of "Until You Come Back to Me (That's What I'm Gonna Do)" insufficient enough to help the cover art meet WP:NFCC#8. Previously tagged for deletion in 2010 when rationale was incomplete, so I'm taking the image here instead. George Ho (talk) 02:09, 26 November 2020 (UTC)

This non-free collage of Us and UK covers for the book is claimed to be used identification in the main infobox, but that role is filled by File:Les cités perdues des Mayas (Découvertes Gallimard, nº 20).jpg, the French cover. The covers are all substantially similar. Usage fails WP:NFCC#3a and WP:NFCC#8. Whpq (talk) 03:31, 26 November 2020 (UTC)

Because of how general the image is (a picture of a police car in front of a building), it fails WP:NFCC#8, it doesn't show a specific event, and the image itself isn't the subject of sourced commentary. It may also fail WP:NFCC#1 as this image (an image of a police car in front of a building), could be replaced by a free image. The removal of the image wouldn't affect the understanding and the use of text is adequate. Dylsss(talk contribs) 16:19, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
- Delete - Stated use is for visual identification for which a free image already serves that purpose so fails WP:NFCC#1. The actual usage is not for identification but rather is decorative in the section about crime. Fails WP:NFCC#8. -- Whpq (talk) 17:39, 26 November 2020 (UTC)

I originally PRODded the image: I redirected "Ain't Nobody Like You (Miki Howard song)" (which I disambiguated recently) to "Femme Fatale (Miki Howard album)", assuming that the song article wouldn't improve over time. The redirection was reverted, and the song's notability and article quality are discussed at the song article's talk page. I'm listing the image not just for the same reason but also because this is of a promo release. The retail/commercial cassette edition is proven to exist. If I stand corrected that the article quality can improve, then I would like to use the retail cassette edition. However, I can't use the cassette as the replacement yet until the article's fate is decided. George Ho (talk) 22:26, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
Update: the editor who previously reverted the redirection no longer has objections. George Ho (talk) 23:19, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
