- File:1970 Official Massachusetts Highway Map-Lowell.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by CRoy77 (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
No proof that the state of Massachusetts has released the original map under CC-BY-SA 4.0, and if not, a crop of it would be protected under copyright. Imzadi 1979 → 02:28, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- Delete, orphaned with questionable licensing. Salavat (talk) 23:43, 2 April 2020 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was: keep. I am closing this early per ignore all rules because the discussion has degenerated and now that a file with this filename is in use, the original rationale no longer applies. Discussion about the articles that this image is used in are outside the scope of this forum. (non-admin closure) The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 08:56, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
- File:Yell Leaders doing pushups.JPG (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Buffs (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
Failed prod. Orphaned. Uploader indicated it was in use, but what is in use is a similar version File:Yell Leaders doing pushups3.jpg. This image should not be moved to commons as noted by uploader as it has no encyclopedic use. Jordan 1972 (talk) 23:22, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- Delete, orphaned with no obvious value. Redundant to File:Yell Leaders doing pushups3.jpg. Salavat (talk) 23:44, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- Keep Deleting the original removes the hosted original and thereby the history of File:Yell Leaders doing pushups3.jpg. The files/histories should be merged and sent to Commons. I never "noted...it has no encyclopedic value". In fact, I said the opposite AND it's (effectively) in use on Aggie_Yell_Leaders. That's horribly misleading as a justification and I request that you edit that rationale, @Jordan 1972:. Buffs (talk) 13:51, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- I thought my sentence was clear, but can understand the misinterpretation -- *I* thought the image should not go to Commons, unlike what Buffs' edit summary said when removing the Prod tag -- apologies. Jordan 1972 (talk) 14:07, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- "This image should not be moved to commons as noted by uploader as it has no encyclopedic use." I have no issue with it being moved to commons and I think its encyclopedic use is rather self-evident. Nothing in that statement is accurate regarding my opinion.
- Why shouldn't it go to commons? @Jordan 1972: Buffs (talk) 15:03, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- This will be my last comment on this, I leave it to other editors to make a determination on the status of the image. First, this image is orphaned. Second, you are likely one of a very small pool of people in the world who could find a use for this image (and see point one about it being orphaned). Third, the article that the derivative image is used on is "in my opinion" non-notable, largely unsourced (and where there are sources many are deadlinks), and should be merged into the A&M main page. Fourth, be bold and transfer it into Commons if you want to - I can't stop you. Jordan 1972 (talk) 15:24, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- I think I've updated and merged the two histories correctly to preserve the history of the file. I've also updated the links (it is no longer orphaned) and File:Yell Leaders doing pushups3.jpg now appears to be the redundant file. If you feel the subject is non-notable, you should make that argument elsewhere. You're putting the cart before the horse. Buffs (talk) 15:31, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- Just because a link is dead doesn't mean it doesn't exist or the article is "unsourced". The articles and reference details could certainly be improved, but you appear to be unnecessarily highly dismissive here. Buffs (talk) 16:14, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
