Not used educationally or discussed critically but as decoration in the infobox. Fails WP:NFCC#8. See Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2019 July 6. ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 02:48, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
- Delete ¶ Nothing in the article discusses the image in question, and seeing it provides no additional understanding to the reliably-sourced prose present, failing WP:NFCC#8. — Fourthords | =Λ= | 16:02, 26 September 2019 (UTC)

Procedural nomination by me: an IP attempted to nominate these images earlier this month, with rationale "this image represents someone that’s not of interest, and also violates copyright and it’s use was without permission of the owner. As a representative of Omar Shihab, we’re requesting that this image be taken down." -- John of Reading (talk) 09:12, 26 September 2019 (UTC)

- File is correctly licensed, has a fair use and is the primary logo on the page. Not sure what this FFD is for? Salavat (talk) 23:38, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
- As Salavat said, there's literally no reason for this FFD. TBMNY (talk) 10:22, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Tornadosurvivor2011: As others have said, do you have a reason for this FFD? —Locke Cole • t • c 03:40, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Locke Cole: - Yes I thought that non free files would be deleted. Bryce M (talk) 10:47, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Tornadosurvivor2011: No. Non-free files are allowed here (subject to strict conditions on size and use). There is a preference for free files though, so where an image can be created using a free license, this project always favors the free version. For example, if there's a new product released, and there are high quality marketing photos released in a press release (but not under a free license like CC-BY-SA), but someone buys it and takes a photo of it using their own camera (and places the upload under a free license), we'll prefer the user created version. Some things can't be handled this way, like company logos or famous art/photos, so for those we use fair-use laws to allow us to include them (in the smallest quality/amount that meets our needs). You can read a much more in-depth explanation, with policies and guidelines, at Wikipedia:Non-free content. —Locke Cole • t • c 16:05, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Locke Cole: Ok, you can close this, as it is allowed here. Why isn't it allowed on Commons but here? Bryce M (talk) 16:55, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Tornadosurvivor2011: this is covered at c:Commons:Fair use and links from there. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 17:22, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
