File uploaded under an inaccurate claim of public domain. The explanation given in the PD rationale is that "source is the government website" -- however, the provincial government of Manitoba does not release its headshots of MLAs into the public domain. Per its copyright statement on its website, "You may download, reproduce, display or distribute material contained in this website for non-commercial use only". However, Wikipedia is not a non-commercial use, and cannot host material released under that copyright restriction. Bearcat (talk) 15:24, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I nominated another file uploaded by this user a couple of days ago - here. All have been tagged as either PD or CC-BY-4.0 (or both). I suspect that the user involved does not understand the copyright restrictions involved in uploading images. I have found the first image elsewhere on the internet ([1]); the third seems to come from Big Brother Naija and has a watermark. The second and third have a Google search URL listed as its source. These all look like pretty clear copyright violations. WJ94 (talk) 18:48, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
