@Giano: I don’t think it’s the source or authorship that’s being questioned, but the permissions. That field on the file page says “see below” but no further information is given. One might assume you intended to use a standard licence such as CC-BY-SA 3.0, but only you, the author, can formally grant the appropriate permissions.—Odysseus 1479 01:16, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

- There's no requirement that the tag be added by the copyright holder – quote the policy that says otherwise. There is evidence of permission in the form of the page where this image is used: User:Giano/Exploding palazzo which has its content licensed as CC-BY-SA-3.0. There is no evidence, however, of any notification of this discusssion to the uploader, Giano – in defiance of the instructions at Wikipedia:Files for discussion: "Give due notice".   - Nonsense. A licence claim is only valid if approved by the uploader and there is no evidence that the uploader has approved the copyright tag you added.

The uploader has added a comment above, so it is obvious that the uploader has been notified of the discussion in one way or another (possibly by checking his watchlist). It would be ridiculous to demand the posting of {{fdw}} to the uploader's talk page if the uploader already is aware of the discussion.

The wikicode on the page User:Giano/Exploding palazzo is licensed as CC-BY-SA 3.0, but the contents of this file have not been posted to that page. Only wikicode which transcludes the file has been posted there, so it's only that wikicode but not the image itself which is covered by the licence you specified. --Stefan2 (talk) 22:24, 26 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Since before 2010, only textual content has been covered by GFDL or CCBYSA by default. Hitting the "upload" button doesn't automatically grant any license at all. Fair use rationale appears to lack a description, a valid source, a "Portion" field, a "Low resolution" field, and a "Replaceability" field.
