Uploader is claiming as own work. However, the uploader has previously uploaded an image that was a copyright violation. Rather unlikely that they had a free image and chose to upload a copyvio instead the first time around. Whpq (talk) 17:57, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The screenshot is used in the plot section of The Pooch against WP:FILMNFI in that the plot section describes the film and is not critical commentary of the image itself. There is no critical commentary of the image itself in the article, it does nothing to increase the reader's understanding of the film and its exclusion is not detrimental to the understanding of the film, thereby failing WP:NFCC#8. The screenshot is used in the production section of A Tough Winter. There are two sentences in the production sentence, one unsourced sentence about the dog used in the film being poisoned in real life and one unsourced sentence about perceived racism against African Americans. Just because the dog and an African American adult are in the screenshot, does not mean that the image backs up either of these sentences. There is no critical commentary of the image itself in the article, it does nothing to increase the reader's understanding of the film and its exclusion is not detrimental to the understanding of the film, thereby failing WP:NFCC#8.
