Unencyclopaedic
This image is not particularly useful as it does not give a good impression of the object discussed and better images may exist than this one. It is also copyright by me and I am not particularly happy with not being able to properly copyright it under Wikipedia regulations.

Copyright status questioned This image was flagged as "I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license." by Sfan00 (talk · contribs) The file involved is a photo taken by the German armed forces during WWII, and is of a German military vehicle. I uploaded it to Wikipedia seven years ago, in 2006. The "Permissions" section currently reads "Original photograph is an official military photograph of the German Third Reich, which became the property of the United States Government under the Act of Surrender, May 1945." That's too complex to explain. I don't feel like arguing over this issue. So I suggest just deleting the thing to make them happy. It's orphaned, anyway. - IAEPEA seized image? Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:18, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Not all images were seized by the US authorities. How do you verify that this particular image was seized? --Stefan2 (talk) 13:33, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. There was previously a belief that all German WWII-era images are PD, but that is not the case. Many such images are copyrighted, and the corporation that inherits such copyrights tends to protect them fiercely. Without better information on this image, we have to assume it's still under copyright. – Quadell (talk) 20:01, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphan, no indication who this is, and the title indicates that the photographer is not the uploader. – Quadell (talk) 12:01, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Violates WP:NFCC#8: just a picture of two of the characters in the episode. Not critical for understanding the article. Stefan2 (talk) 13:31, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Keep I understand where you're coming from, but the rules on Wikipedia seem too stuffy. In my mind, a useless image would be, for instance, the one for The Fat and the Furriest. Why do we keep that one? The ones I uploaded are, in my opinion, better than that one. Wimpyguy (talk) 15:14, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- That one also violates WP:NFCC#8 as neither image is needed to understand the articles. --Stefan2 (talk) 15:45, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
