Superseded by File:Ajl772NonWikiExample.png (higher quality, smaller file size). No objection to storing it long term if uploader strongly objects. Magog the Ogre (talk) 06:26, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OR and UE. I uploaded it only to illustrate a problem on my browser to the user who created a script i was using way back in 2007. It is useless to wikipedia. I would have speedied it but i cant find a suitable criteria for speedy deletion. ќמшמφטтгמtorque 08:01, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- File:Temptation Podium.png (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Darijoe (notify | contribs | uploads).
User-created rendition of contestant desk used on Temptation (Australian game show). The depiction of where the contestants sat is unnecessary to describe gameplay. Sottolacqua (talk) 19:37, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Keep While a screenshot would probably be best, if this is all we have, it's better than nothing. The image isn't poor quality and illustrates the podiums perfectly reasonably. Free images don't need to be 'necessary' to an article in order to be used. If it gets superseded by a screenshot of the podiums during gameplay it can be renominated.Didn't notice the image contained the logo. Swarm X 00:26, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]- It's a derivative work of the copyrighted logo. Deleting F9. --B (talk) 02:28, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Compilation page just backlinks to source images, licensing conditions actually require naming the authors of all source files. Denniss (talk) 23:05, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Adding the authors to the page will take a few minutes. The source images are all listed, it's not difficult. I don't have the time right now, but I can do it in a few hours. This issue requires resolution, but doesn't warrant deletion. Swarm X 00:32, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Now done for all the images that require author attribution. Swarm X 04:10, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This picture is of poor quality and has absolutely no encyclopedic value even in the article it is used. Nergaal (talk) 23:17, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - there is an argument that the image is pertinent to the subject's interest in animal rights. Since the legality of the image is clear, and it is arguably useful, we should keep the image and leave the editorial decisions to those involved in the article. As far as quality goes, it is pretty bad, but not so bad as to require deletion on that ground alone. Thparkth (talk) 14:45, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Move to Commons - I have retouched it as File:Famkes licorice.png. The dog is referenced in the article, and once I fixed the contrast, the image isn't nearly as terrible. So I don't see any horrible problem with having a photo there. I agree that we should be purging rather than using truly terrible photos, but this one isn't so bad once the brightness is fixed. Wet trout to the uploader for uploading a photo as a gif. --B (talk) 13:56, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
