- Keep. This image is one of two primary images for the article BrainPOP. The subject of the image is one of the two main characters of the website BrainPOP.com and appears next to extensive discussion of the character illustrated. How do we know that the uploader did not have the right to release the image? If not, a fair use rationale should be added here. -- Ssilvers (talk) 03:21, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Our assumption is, and must be, that images are not free until we receive evidence that they are. If someone adds a valid fair use rationale (which would have to include the source and preferably the copyright holder) before the closure of this debate, it can be kept. - Doesn't seem to be of help to the project. Although generally user images are allowed, the user has admitted to being 11, and it is only in gallery section of user's userpage, and he said what school he's going to. Plus he's announced retirement. In short, it is a personal image that is not being used for a personal use, and is of no other benefit to the project, in addition to being a possible privacy risk. NativeForeigner Talk/Contribs 04:26, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Something wrong in the nomination logic: "it is only in gallery section of user's userpag" vs. "not being used for a personal use". I'd say keep. Plenty of wikipedians have their visages, retired or not.Laudak (talk) 05:11, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep. Primary Source. And "ConfuciusInstitute" is, interestingly, the name of a CCP propaganda wing. There is nothing "non-neutral" about the photographs, and is material from a primary source.Dilip rajeev (talk) 04:48, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment "Reliability" doesn't weigh into image deletion decisions, images are generally only deleted if they violate copyright (which this does not appear to, unless Clearwisdom itself does not hold copyright to the 4 images that make it up) or are unencyclopedic. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 16:38, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
