- File:Battlefield earth screencap.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs) – uploaded by ChrisO (notify | contribs | uploads).
- Fails NFCC.3a and 8. ÷seresin 01:23, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. Shows actors as characters they portray, in costume. The costumes and aspects of the characters are discussed in the article. -- Cirt (talk) 02:27, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- There is already a picture of them in costume. ÷seresin 02:36, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- It's difficult to make out the costumes in the other picture due to the odd camera angle and lurid tinting. AndroidCat (talk) 07:08, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- The other picture does not show any of the lead actors - see my comment below. -- ChrisO (talk) 08:39, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- There is already a picture of them in costume. ÷seresin 02:36, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. This is a publicity photo released by Warner Bros and widely reproduced in reviews of the film (see e.g. [1]). It illustrates the three main leads (Travolta, Whittaker, Pepper) in costume. The other picture mentioned by seresin is of three completely different people who play three minor characters. Without this picture, we have no illustration of the lead actors. I might also add that this picture is in a featured article and has been reviewed already as part of the featured article review process, so I'm a bit surprised to see it being nominated for deletion here. -- ChrisO (talk) 08:38, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- File:Finally Woken US.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs) – uploaded by Billy4kate (notify | contribs | uploads).
- extra non-free image in an article with an existing very similar one. The small differences from the other non-free image can easily be described with text alone if required. Image fails NFCC#1 (replaceable with a free alternative) and NFCC#3a (excessive use of non-free content) Peripitus (Talk) 00:34, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- A corporate logo that's obviously copyrightable. The uploader claims to be a representative of the company (or perhaps a role account operated by several representatives of the company), but there's no OTRS evidence for this, so no real proof that this the uploader's CC-by-sa-3.0 license is valid. Moreover, this image is orphaned. Nyttend (talk) 21:39, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
