- File:Lothar Matthäus2.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs) – uploaded by Jw2035 (notify | contribs | uploads).
- WP:NFCC#8 - Doesn't seem to show anything much that couldn't adequately be described by prose. The "look on his face" is described in the CL final article, but the image is so non-descript that it doesn't really help the reader understand the subject better. - Delete if the image were face on and of better quality, there might be something to its use here. But, that's not the case. You can't see his expression at all. - Fails WP:NFCC#3 as multiple non-free items are being used when one would suffice. This image is not significantly different the main image to justify its use. Also fails WP:NFCC#8 as the image does not enhance the readers' understanding of the subject. — ξxplicit 07:03, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Agree with Explicit. Blatant violation of WP:NFCC #3. There's nothing about this image that gives you understanding to recognize the character that the main infobox image doesn't already bring to the article. Also a boiler plate rationale at play which claims (falsely) use in the main infobox. I'm hard pressed to understand why it was even uploaded. At the time of uploading, the article already had the completely adequate existing picture [1]. --Hammersoft (talk) 19:57, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
