I believe this image (the second picture is a cropped version of it) is a problem under WP:NFC #3 and #8. This article on a fictional character already includes an image of an actress in the role. It is not necessary to include two images of this fictional character to understand the article. WP:NFC advises that "Multiple items of non-free content are not used if one item can convey equivalent significant information", and while this image displays the character at a different age, "Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding." Since only one picture is necessary of the character in this article, I believe the one depicting the character as it is now is more appropriate. Alternate album cover that is not discussed anywhere in the article. Article already has a copyrighted album cover and this extra image, without sourced commentary on it, fails: NFCC#3 as excessive use and NFCC#8 in not significantly increasing reader's understanding. Just because an alternate cover exists is not a compelling reason for it to have a copyrighted image here, the image is simply performing a decorative function - Peripitus (Talk) 08:27, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
