February 13
[edit]- The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of the media below. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as the media's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was: - Delete - just a note - for films we usually allow a poster of the film (which this is noted below to not be) and the image was replete with copyright material from a number of sources (sponsors logos) - Peripitus (Talk) 00:46, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- File:1010film.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs) - uploaded by Jayantanth (notify | contribs).
- This isn't a poster. It is a website screenshot. ViperSnake151 02:26, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- If it is wrong tag, I change it to screenshoot. Yhat is ok???-Thanks. Jayanta Nath(Talk|Contrb) 07:05, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- This is kinda a carte blanche. The page doesn't address this as a website screenshot, but calls it a poster. The page contains no commentary on the website, and only the actual poster could be your best option in there. ViperSnake151 12:23, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- The actual poster of the film is not available from the site. If you think this will hamper wikipedia guideline, you can delete it.-Thanks. Jayanta Nath(Talk|Contrb) 05:21, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The photo does not appear to have ever been used in Wikipedia. It is the sole contribution of the user. •••Life of Riley (T–C) 00:27, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete. Apparently a temporary drawing. Contributor's edit summary is "made this picture to help describe a tooth problem to somebody working on the dental cavity article, so I could find out a name for the phenemenon and research it, possibly adding any info found to the article if relevant." See also a similar drawing by the same contributor: File:BrenttsTooth3.jpg, which should probably also be deleted. •••Life of Riley (T–C) 01:37, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment. This is a little unclear. The contributor of this image is LeonMartin. The image description is "Self made. Image of myself, self photographed. I own copyright." This image does not appear to have ever been used in any article. A nearly identical image, but black-and-white and reversed, was added to the article Lisa Zaran on March 9, 2007, and still exists there. The contributor of that image, however, was Lisamarie2, with the description "Lisa Zaran, iphoto, self made picture." So I must conclude that either (1) LeonMartin and Lisamarie2 are the same person, or (2) Somebody is lying. •••Life of Riley (T–C) 01:37, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
