Keep- Image is revelent to the article. Proper source and rationale is provided. The image does appear in multiple sites, however I understand that it is our job to provide the sources from were we obtain the images, but not to police other websites as to where they obtained theirs. How about this image which is dated, has provenance and could be checked out to see if the copyright has expired....or a non-free rationale could be created. The existing image is clearly a scan of a newspaper article but as it is undated and has no source, surely the image is far less useful than a sourced and well described one of here doing a sporty thing, rather than posing. - Peripitus (Talk) 12:12, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- It's a better image because it actually shows her face. What do you knwo about the "Museo del Deporte, Guaynabo"? It's not listed in List of museums in Puerto Rico. You should ask some friend in Guaynabo to go there and track the copyright information for this image. I wish this is free of copyright, but we can only know by checking. And if it's not, depending on who holds the copyright, I guess it could be used as fair use. --Damiens.rf 15:38, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  - The "Museo del Deporte, Guaynabo" website is at http://www.museodeldeportepr.com/museo.html -- found via a 15 second Google search. That might be a start. Delete unless there is proof this is a US-govt image. The image comes from here where there is a (c) All-rights-reserved note. While this note may be as invalid as other tags on the site, there is no other source I can find to show the images creator. Could be an official shot or could also be a posed studio shot that is not US-govt created. Keep- provided additional source. Plus the site mentioned above clearly states that the image belongs to Guardia Nacional Aérea de P. R. which is belongs to the United States Government. A "work of the United States Government," is a work prepared by an officer or employee of the United States Government as part of that person's official duties. The image was taken while the subject in question was a members (employee) of the United States Air Force in his military uniform by another member (employee) of the United States Army, hence the United States Government. - No, Tony. When the Picasa photo page says (in the right) the image "Belongs to Guardia Nacional Aérea de P. R.", it's actually saying the picture belongs to an album called "Guardia Nacional Aérea de P. R.". That was funny, though. --Damiens.rf 15:50, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Damn, I didn't notice the album thing. Even though after fully reviewing the album, it is obvious that album owner does not own the copyright to the majority of the photos which were taken while some of the subjects were in active military duty. Just tried to upload it on Commons. It has previously been deleted there as the OTRS release doesn't allow commercial re-use. Result has to be delete as orphaned non-free content. Angus McLellan (Talk) 02:38, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
