- Non-free image with no clear source, URL given does not exist. Copyright status unknown and purpose unknown, better replaced with screencap because copyright and source are known and only encompasses a small portion of the work (a screencap is one frame amongst many vs. promotional photo which is the complete work.) This has been done for countless TV publicity photos. Ejfetters (talk) 08:35, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Relisting from July 26 without prejudice. My personal opinion is that using a promotional photo is more in keeping with the copyright holder's desires than randomly picking out a screenshot and we don't delete images just because the source website no longer exists. I have no strong preference either way, but since this is as much or more a content decision, it ought to have more than one person's say so. --B (talk) 03:19, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Question A classic case of linkrot :( The original home page can be found here on the "wayback machine". It's probable that the promotional images were there in 2006 when the image was uploaded. Does anyone know if the linkrot problem has been addressed relative to this somewhere here? Skier Dude (talk) 01:51, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm not sure it's a case of linkrot; it's the fact that the uploader didn't provide a proper source to begin with. Sourcing to just a base URL really doesn't cut it. Stifle (talk) 08:15, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
