Frmatt (talk · contribs · count) I've been editing on and off for a while now, and have found myself editing more frequently in the last few months. I did edits before as an anon-ip, and continued to edit anonymously in between my logged-in period. I haven't done as much contributing lately as I have vandalism fighting and new page patrolling. I'm looking for this review because I'm considering an RfA in a few months and want to be sure that I understand the WP policies and procedures before I do that. Any and all suggestions are helpful! Reviews
Hi! Thought I would feedback into the system here so I had a quick look over your contributions.
You seem to have a very good working relationship with other contributors, Your talk page shows you've had had a positive effect on those that you have interacted with. Its a pity that you had a long period as an anon-IP as you probably have a bit more experience than your record on this account suggests. You seem to deal with vandalism in a non confrontational manner and have had a lot of input into keeping WPs quality standards up, in AFDs etc. You've created a pretty detailed and well written article in MCI, would you consider writting more articles? It was suggested to me on my review and I found that I got a great deal of satisfation from it. You edited an article with a COI but seem to have done so in a text book manner, declaring it and exercising caution. You leave edit summaries making it very easy to track your contributions.
Good luck in any RfA, let me know if you decide to go for it as I believe you would make an excellent admin. Keep up the good work GainLine ♠ ♥ 14:26, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
Questions
- What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
- I think the contribution which I am most pleased with is my creation of Mass casualty incident and my contributions to the EMS taskforce at WikiProject Medicine. Additionally, I have been finding myself spending more time trying to ensure that new pages conform to WP standards.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- I haven't been in any editing disputes (or at least nothing I would consider a dispute!) and I strive at all times to treat others as I wish to be treated. If I make a mistake, I own up to it and if possible, fix it myself. If I engage in a dialogue with another editor, I make sure that I do it specifically about the topic, and not about the editor themselves. I work really hard at making sure I follow WP:AGF, and whenever possible I try to offer my assistance to new users who seem to be struggling with the WP style. I will continue to do all of these things in the future!
