I'm pretty sure this is a backwards copy. Considering that the website linked to is not the society's, but a bookseller's, makes it plausible someone lazy at the bookseller's website would copy from Wikipedia to get their information. The Internet Archive shows content on f-b-a.com going back to the early 2000s but not becoming a bookseller's website until around 2021, which accords with the year of their copyright assertion in their page footer. They only have blog posts on their website going back to 2021, and I couldn't find any mention of a previous website. The offending content was added in many separate edits: the history section was added in 2014, and the offending parts of the lede were built up naturally by different users (sample edit, 2013).
