- Algerian Americans (history · last edit · rewrite) from https://go.gale.com/ps/i.do?p=GPS&u=wikipedia&id=GALE. Cordless Larry (talk) 06:00, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
- That link doesn't work for me, but the article is clearly copy/pasted from https://www.every&culture.com/multi/A-Br/Algerian-Americans.html (blacklisted URL; remove the & to follow the link). The original edits by Isinbill are all verbatim from that source (e.g. search any sentence in our article created in 2010, and you'll find it in an archived copy of the source from 2009 (also hits the blacklist, sorry you'll have to copy/paste the URL and remove the & to follow it), which claims copyright and has no mention of compatible licensing). That copy/pasted text makes up almost all the article today. Given that the copyvio is most of the article and goes back to its initial edit, I think deletion is the best option. If anyone is interested in re-writing the article, the two short non-infringing sections "Organizations" and "Notable people" look fine to me, and can be revived by an admin anytime. - That link worked for me before, Ajpolino, but it now takes me to a login screen. Anyway, the source you found is a version of the same document, I think. Thanks for your input. Cordless Larry (talk) 11:12, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

- This user has a history of copyright violations and was indeffed for it in July 2015 and has been unblocked since. I don't know if there is anything recent. I will refer this to WP:CCI. MER-C 09:53, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- Empresses in the Palace (history · last edit · rewrite) from http://www.bjreview.com.cn/movies/txt/2012-05/09/content_451539.htm http://www.globaltimes.cn/content/758446.shtml https://www.jaynestars.com/tv-dramas/legend-of-zhen-huan-becomes-smash-hit-in-japan/ I'm sorry, I didn't know how to link multiple URLs in the things I pasted in the article, but there are three sources for the copyright issues. Most of the Reception section is a patchwork of copy-and-pasted sentences from each sentence's cited source. Likewise, the second paragraph in International Broadcast is copy-and-pasted from that paragraph's cited source. It appears they were added in January 2015, so I don't know if those sections can just be deleted, since they're too old to revert. Sorry if I've done this wrong; I haven't edited on Wikipedia very much. Pikapikapink (talk) 21:38, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Pikapikapink: Thanks, I think I cut all the copy/pasted text. The earliest copyvio text I could find was added in January 2015. If someone wants to revdel the offending versions, they'll have to go from this oldid to the present (inclusive). The remaining hits on Earwigs are (I think) all backwards copies of our content. Let me know if you see anything I missed! Ajpolino (talk) 05:08, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
- I don't see anything else either, although I cannot exclude the possibility of translation copyvios. Thanks. MER-C 16:37, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
