Note that Commons requires "attribution" and I believe so does GFDL. So to my understanding, the way the text was copied into Wikipedia does not preserve the attribution to the origial authors and as such does currently constitute a copyright violation. This needs to be investigated. GFDL is not good for Wikipedia. CC-BY-3.0 might do, but only if the required attribution is preserved, since as far as I can tell CC-BY-3.0 is CC-BY-SA-3.0 compatible. So the one thing really missing seems to be proper attribution. I'm not entirely sure, but it may be sufficient to place a permanent note (maybe there is a template for this) on the articles Talk page, pointing to the book license page. --91.52.32.135 (talk) 09:28, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
