  • Energy efficiency gap I have serious concerns about this article, but cannot find exact sources. However, it seems to have come in, in large chunks (including the original large chunk, from a new user with only this article in his/her contributions. Going through the history of the article; see diff here - the references (complete with their original numbers) are being pasted in, not in the original order, from some previous work, somewhere. Google books, scholar, web, are not finding exact phrase matches. My alarm bells are ringing and my neck-hairs are prickling - where did these (already numbered) references come from? • Thanks. I don't find a source either, so there's nothing we can really do. I've put the {{cv-unsure}} on the article talk page, since that's typically where it's placed. They do work long-term. I just blanked an article for which a source was found, three years after the CV unsure tag was placed! --Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:02, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Can anybody else see this book? Google books has chosen not to permit me to see that page. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:21, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • In my eyes this is too close for comfort, for example:
      • Source: Cervole raised his own company of men and undertook military operations on his own account, seizing three castles in Angoulême and, later, while serving under John II at the siege of Breteuil, another fortress in Normandy.
      • Article: Arnaud raised his own company of men and undertook military operations on his own account, seizing three castles in Angoulême and, while serving under John II for 1355 to 1356, another fortress in Normandy.
    • This is one of the worst examples but I think it shows that our article is possibly a derivative work. You also have an e-mail concerning this (pointing you at where I've put screen shots of the relevant pages) as I don't fancy making the final call myself.
