SCV for 2011-03-23 Edit

Infringing article has been deleted, current version is non-infringing. Hut 8.5 18:48, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The common text is a list of academic publications, which I don't think can be copyrighted. Hut 8.5 18:43, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. While only a list, it was a list of selected publications, and the selection of particular content is enough of a creative element to provide copyright protection. Formulaic lists, such as tracklists for an album, or the inclusion of every single publication would be fine. VernoWhitney (talk) 14:39, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Copyright investigations (manual article tagging)
[edit]
Original author removed copyvio tag. I replaced it as this is still open. We hope (talk) 05:26, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. These copy-paste tags can be a pain in the neck, but an article like this one demonstrates why we need them. Blatant. Identified over a year ago, but no action was taken at the time. :/ --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:57, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
