SCV for 2011-06-23 Edit

  • No copyright concern. Material PD or appropriately licensed for use. Plumbot is a Wikipedia mirror so no infringement but tagged for deletion as a recreation of material deleted via AFD. BelovedFreak 16:45, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Article cleaned, still needs a history purge to remove original copyvio. Authored removed a much more blatant infringement and rewrote the article. I just rewrote two sentences of the rewrite. NortyNort (Holla) 03:15, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Copyright investigations (manual article tagging)
[edit]
  • Backwardscopy. Tag and explanation placed at talk page. History search shows the article gradually evolving. Archives of the given source began in 2007 while much of the article was constructed by then. Sometime in late 2006/early 2007, the website ripped our article. They even used the same bulleted platform-type format that was used then in the article. --NortyNort (Holla) 11:16, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yes, it is an opinion-based list. Albeit a short list, I don't think it is notable enough for a stand-alone article. I redirected it. I thought about XfD for this reason but given the copyvio concerns and tag, I felt a redirect was baest at this time. An admin might want to delete the article given the redirect isn't terribly plausible.--NortyNort (Holla) 10:53, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • This is probably a backwards copyvio, since we've had this text in one form or another since January 2006 ([3]), but it's a copyvio one way or another--either taken from there or in unattributed split from the original article. Since the concept is unlikely to be stand-alone notable, I've redirected it to the original and rev deleted to avoid inadvertent restoration. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:58, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
