Copyright investigations (manual article tagging)
[edit]- Stoppomat (history · last edit) from www.desperate-bikers.de/html/stoppomat.html. (Translation from advertising site in German, checked via Google Translate). A question to be clarified is whether that website is a mirror of a yet older version of the article from the German Wikipedia, which would remove the objection as to copyvio. No copyright concern. Material PD or appropriately licensed for use. The desperate-bikers site underwent a complete revamp that changed their URL structure, and thus the claims could not be verified. However, the article's creation appears to be a machine translation of the corresponding DE wiki page that wasn't properly attributed. Barring any third party claims, a vio cannot be verified at present, and circumstantial evidence points to a simple intrawiki copy. Clearing this. --MLauba (Talk) 08:45, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

- Image was speedily deleted. I removed copyvio tag from page as well as the (now) redlink to the deleted file. GregJackP (talk) 17:01, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
