- Y Quite a mess! Already partially cleaned. More cleaning done. Note left at talk page. Yes, many Wikipedia mirrors violate GFDL, but only contributors who have written content that is being "stolen" have the legal right to do anything about this. Texas State University-San Marcos (history · last edit) has several sections recently added that were copy-pasted from other websites. I have flagged the sections that were copy-pasted. I am placing the alert here as these sections were added by a user, even after their previous edit was reverted and they were warned about copy-paste plagiarism. There may be a possibility of rewriting these sections or reverting back to edit [1] which is the last edit before the user started making the copy-past additions. - This one is a horrible mess. :/ I wish I started at the top of CP instead of the bottom, because this note would have been very helpful. :) (DumbBot also listed this matter, so I had already investigated before noticing that you had listed it here.) I have blanked the entire article with a copyvio template, since I found additional sections pasted that were not tagged and as we should blank copyright infringement to prevent our mirrors from disseminating the material. I've relisted it under today, to reset the clock for "closure" for another week. If regular contributors do not rewrite in temporary space or seek permission, I will revert back to the last identifiably clean. Thank you so much for recognizing this problem and following up on it! I have also given the contributor a clear block warning, since I do not see that he had received one before. If you see him adding copyrighted information without permission again, please follow through. I'll try to check back, but there are so many problematic contributors listed here that it's impossible for one admin to check up on all of them to be sure more problems don't follow. We're in the middle of cleaning up after an editor who introduced copyrighted text into literally thousands of articles.
