- The article's creator, a SPA, has been advised in multiple ways about the copyright problem and has not responded/contributed since February 9, when he asserted persmission on the article's talk page. I don't usually deal with copyright issues but have been asked to delete the article in question and am inclined to think the author isn't going to deal with this any further. If someone would care to advise me of anything I need to do, I'd be grateful. Accounting4Taste:talk 02:26, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hi. :) Sorry that you didn't get a response. These things move up the line to "Older than 7 Days" before they get admin attention, usually; occasionally, I notice something ahead. Although the article has only been listed at CP since the 13th, it's been well over 7 days; you're certainly comfortably within typical process for deletion (see Wikipedia:Copyright problems/Advice for admins). If you want to be extra friendly about it, feel free to use the template I've devised for the purpose at User:Moonriddengirl/cup. It's your typical "The article has been deleted because unverified. This is why we need verification. It's not too late; here's what to do now." If you want to use it, just plant {{subst:User:Moonriddengirl/cup}} in the same section as the copyright notice; it creates a subsection so that it requires no personalization of article title or source. :) (And if you don't happen to see this, I'll take care of it tomorrow when it is officially ripe.) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 18:42, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
