Rescue of Jews by Polish communities during the Holocaust(history · last edit) from [1]. See also Talk:Rescue of Jews by Polish communities during the Holocaust#This article is simply a quasi-plagiarism lifted from a fringe right wing writer--examples Jayjg (talk) 00:34, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
- Please note blatant violation of WP:BLP, above. The scholarly source is labeled "a fringe right wing writer" without a single proof of any wrongdoing. The article has 42 citations and additional 6 points of reference leading to works by Holocaust scholars and survivors. The primary source was a compilation of them, that's why the article can easily stand based on those sources alone with direct links and their detailed descriptions (see Talk for confirmation of numerous other sources). - The "scholarly" source is accurately described as "a fringe right wing writer". Where is there a claim of "wrongdoing"? 65.95.28.88 (talk) 23:23, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
- To call any researcher "right wing" in Wikipedia from under the cover of anonymity is a serious matter. The claim needs to be supported since this one living person whom you and User:Jayjg don't know could take serious offence to it. Get it? --Poeticbent talk 00:56, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- I have rewritten a few sentences, the evidence for copyvio is very poor - see "examples".--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 02:24, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Re-writing a half dozen words doesn't fix the problem that the entire article, every sentence, every source, every quote, is taken from one single source, with the most minor of re-wordings. Don't touch the COPYVIO tag again; let a neutral admin look at it. Jayjg (talk) 02:37, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Huh? How am I not neutral? I've not edited the article before or commented on it. I've reviewed examples on talk, corrected the 3 sentences that were somewhat similar, and I see no other evidence of copyright issues (but I see a lot of IDONTLIKEIT).--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 02:45, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

- There is enough duplication of material to represent a concern in terms of "substantial taking" under US copyright law. I have been unable to verify which source published the material first, as the material did not evolve here naturally but was placed at one time but there is no archived version that I can locate of the external source. Those are two indicators that can ease determination of publication history, both missing. Given the concern, I have revised the material, including only that which I can safely assert is not infringement. I have not deleted earlier versions from history. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:43, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
