~~Delete~~ This feels like a misguided attempt to universalize something that normally is an ad-hoc construction for individual situations. Redirect to resistive force. It appears to be using the "load force in a simple machine" definition, e.g., gravity pulling down one side of a lever. Plenty of books do this [1], so "resistance force" is a reasonable search term. XOR'easter (talk) 20:45, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
