Merge making if necessary a character page for the purpose & merging the other in. This did not need deletion. I ask TTN to say why he thinks a merge unsuitable. And, even if it were, why he thinks a redirect unsuitable. To bring articles here to force a merge is abusing our delteion policy--the place to propose and discuss it is on an article talk page. Merge/redirect as appropriate. I too would prefer to see more effort to resolve the many spinouts just like this editorially before resorting to AfD. Redirect to Mega Man Legends series — Again, I disagree with merging. Where are the sources? Merging would only introduce unreferenced original research into another article. Simply put, merging, while a viable alternative to deletion, it not an excuse to keep unreferenced/unencyclopedic/original-research/etc. material.
