AfDs for this article:
- RainCode COBOL (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log · Stats)
- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
This implementation fails to meet the software notability guidelines. I suggest redirecting the page to COBOL, similarly to how RainCode PL/1 was redirected to PL/I. EdwardH

Strong delete. Fails to meet WP:NSOFT or WP:GNG. No references among real books, academic journals/publications, or reliable source occurences in the first 100 hits of a google web search. (Around 120 occurrences in a books.google.com search because it turns up repeatedly as an incorrect multiple choice answer in some sort of scammy-looking computer-generated study material based on rehashed Wikipedia content). - Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so a clearer consensus may be reached.

- Delete - Couldn't find evidence of notability. Redirect unnecessary. ~KvnG 18:00, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- Delete: The article makes no claim to notability and I can find no coverage other than PR. Fails WP:NSOFT. AllyD (talk) 19:14, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- Delete. Fails WP:GNG and seems that also WP:NSOFT. Beagel (talk) 17:08, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
