Octane (Transformers)

This character does not establish notability independent of Transformers through the inclusion of real world information from reliable, third party sources. Most of the information is made up of plot details better suited to Wikia. There is no current assertion for future improvement of the article, so extended coverage is unnecessary. Merge to List of Decepticons. There are no sources to establish out-of-universe notability for the character; only in-universe assessments and reviews of the toy. There is no non-fictional notability, so a merge to the character list is appropriate. Note that part of the article covers the character's appearance in Transformers: Robots in Disguise, where a version of this character is an Autobot, but that is "Mega-Octane" and therfore Mega-Octane should be retargeted to List of Transformers: Robots in Disguise characters. - The Bushranger _{One ping only} 13:46, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge - It seems to me that discussing the toys that have been released of the character should count as out-of-universe notability. That said, I can't tell whether any of the sources included in the article are reliable. Either way, I'm not sure that there is enough information about the toys to really warrant a stand-alone article. --Jpcase (talk) 21:03, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
