Non-notable stubs and orphan articles. User who created it is Szhan. The article is an advertisement for an technical article written by S. Zhan. This could be a conflict of interest and an abuse of Wikipedia for self promotion. Or it could be a graduate student of S. Zhan so don't be so quick to accuse others. Still, the name suggests some ties. President of Chicago (talk) 03:11, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: If IEEE let you search their DB without being a member we could at least get some idea on notability prospects for the few papers the creator mentions but AFAIK you need to sign into their site, not sure if gscholar would get everything but sometimes hits come up on goog web search. Thanks, Tim Song (talk) 00:00, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply] - Comment: I checked IEEExplore - there's only one citation listed for this article, and it's a self-cite by the same set of authors on more or less the same subject. - Delete for lack of multiple independent reliable sources that discuss the subjects in-depth and establish notability. Bfigura (talk) 02:52, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete or possible merge to broader subject. ChildofMidnight (talk) 23:00, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge No clean processing into Soldering. Keep Surface insulation resistance. SIR appears to be a popular manufacturing technique to test the reliability of circuit board components. A simple google search returned thousands of pages, many of which are companies which offer SIR services. See [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]. Obviously, this article is currently a (very poorly worded) stub at this point. But the subject is notable and deserves an article. Editing can solve this problem.
