The result was keep. Although I have not much sympathy for those who think WP is a newspaper and should have articles on any recent event, there obviously is broad consensus to keep this for now. Whether anything should be merged can be discussed on the respective talk pages. Anybody wanting to revisit this in 6 months is, of course, welcome to do so, although in my experience this rarely happens if a movement fizzles (see the whole slate of "Occupy" articles that nobody ever edits any more). Whether that will happen with this movement is impossible to say at this point, of course. Randykitty (talk) 08:37, 21 February 2018 (UTC)

Per WP:TOOSOON and WP:ORG. This article could be merged in its entirety to the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting article. It fails to meet the criteria for extensive coverage and has certainly not made any kind of lasting impact as yet. Veggies (talk) 02:38, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep - Easily meets WP:GNG and WP:ORGCRIT based on substantial international coverage in independent reliable sources.- MrX 🖋 02:48, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep. Clearly Notable and plenty of RS. -- BullRangifer (talk) PingMe 02:52, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Speedy keep - Plenty of RS coverage, making international news. Jdcomix (talk) 03:43, 19 February 2018 (UTC)

- Keep good references form excellent sources. Emma Gonzalez should probably be merged here.104.163.148.25 (talk) 05:48, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep - already notable and plenty of significant independent coverage outside of a regular news cycle. SportingFlyer (talk) 06:34, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep as above.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 12:33, 19 February 2018 (UTC)

- Keep but know that this will need to be revisited in 6 months or so, when notability will be clearer, as will our perspective on whether merging the material makes sense going forward.E.M.Gregory (talk) 17:28, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep -- Early days still but with similar comparative grassroots movements like the Dakota Access Pipeline protests that are this newsworthy and probably historic, the page is valuable and should stay. -- BrillLyle (talk) 19:34, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Merge into the parent article. – Illegitimate Barrister (talk • contribs), 19:36, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep for now, per notability guidelines. CookieMonster755✉ 22:32, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep for now, lots of coverage right now. But long term impact is yet to be determined. I think E.M.Gregory has the right idea to revisit it in 6 months and see if there is still lasting notability. PackMecEng (talk) 01:24, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep per above. TOOSOON is not Wikipedia policy, but WP:RAPID is. --Jprg1966 (talk) 01:38, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
- is this not a snow keep?104.163.148.25 (talk) 04:43, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, it's clearly a SNOW KEEP. Will someone please close this? --- BullRangifer (talk) PingMe 05:46, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep for now, revisit when it falls apart, having accomplished nothing (if anyone remembers). It's a fine place to store all the stuff that would otherwise disproportionately blow up the main article. InedibleHulk (talk) 11:51, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep for now, this article seems to have legs (in widespread coverage) for the time being. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 16:31, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep. Notable and lots of WP:RS in the article. The argument that it is WP:TOOSOON is downright macabre in these circumstances. Darkest Tree Talk 22:23, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
