- List of Python software (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (delete) – (View log)
This is a list of lists. None of the sub-lists are well defined other than be having some relation to the programming language. This list contains zero usable prose linking the lists. This suite of lists would be better served by a category and sub-categories; which I believe already exist. Miami33139 (talk) 00:22, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep As the items on the list are notable, with WP articles, and the connection with the subject of the list is clear and sourcable, the list is appropriate. The programming language something is written is is major defining characteristic. DGG (talk) 00:30, 17 February 2009 (UTC)g[reply]
- Strong keep. I cannot even really understand the reason stated in the nomination. It is indeed a list with sections (I guess that's "list of sub-lists", in a manner of speaking). Unlike a category though, this list has annotations describing each item listed. LotLE×talk 00:58, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- List of C software? List of HTML based websites? List of air-breathing mammals? The language a piece of software is written in is defining, but an absolutely mundane and indiscriminate bit of trivia. If this list is only used for navigation, we have categories. What is the purpose of the list? Miami33139 (talk) 01:01, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- To remove the guesswork. Rules99 (talk) 09:13, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- List of HTML based websites and List of air-breathing mammals are truly trivial because the majority of websites are at least partially based on HTML and all mammals breath air. Such level of triviality is not even remotely reached with this list. - Mgm|(talk) 10:56, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep. I agree with User:DGG.--S Marshall Talk/Cont 17:27, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. Notable programming language - obviously not all programs are created with the same programming language, so this gives a nice view for those in the niche of python programming. Alpha 4615 (talk) 20:56, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - I agree that most lists fail WP:V but I also think none of them need it, as long as the items contained therein are notable. §FreeRangeFrog 23:23, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep useful navigational list. Gandalf61 (talk) 17:59, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
