Lao string bracelet

As far as I know there isn't really any such thing as a "Lao string bracelet" specifically - the tying of string round the wrist is widespread across Buddhist Thailand and Laos (and, I think, Cambodia), and they're used far more generally than just the examples given here. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 19:42, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Delete or Merge into bracelet, if some sources can be found for it. I don't think that this is notable enough to have an article of its own. --Slon02 (talk) 00:31, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think Bracelet is appropriate - "A bracelet is an article of jewelry". This Buddhist string thing isn't jewelry, and isn't there for decorative purposes -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 06:08, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
