May I know the exact reason for deletion?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.99.157.125 (talk) 20:13, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
- In direct words, K Rajagopal is not important/famous enough to have an article on Wikipedia.--Vigyanitalkਯੋਗਦਾਨ 01:35, 17 September 2014 (UTC)

- Comment as per WP:INDAFD K Rajagopal maybe notable. — CutestPenguinHangout 18:17, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
- We need to be careful in filtering out the citations. This K Rajagopal is alive and politician. The searh result you linked, shows many people with same name. For ex. the very 2nd citation is about some other guy who is now dead. --Vigyanitalkਯੋਗਦਾਨ 22:52, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
- Keep, notable per coverage in major media, such as http://www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-national/tp-kerala/rajagopal-elected-again/article1180682.ece , http://mathrubhuminews.in/ee/ReadMore/6825/paranari-remark-has-not-affected-kollam-k.rajagopal/E, http://www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-national/tp-kerala/k-rajagopal-cpim-kollam-secretary/article1180542.ece , http://www.newindianexpress.com/states/kerala/article327520.ece , http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/thiruvananthapuram/CPM-CPI-panel-meetings-for-LS-polls-from-today/articleshow/31389770.cms , http://www.mathrubhumi.com/english/news/kerala/pinarayi-faction-grabs-kollam-in-neck-and-neck-race-118671.html etc --Soman (talk) 21:02, 22 September 2014 (UTC)

- Delete per WP:SIGCOV. Every news article I have seen on the subject has only a trivial mention of the subject, as in "This guy won an election. These other things also happened in the election." --Richard Yin (talk) 15:51, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
- Delete as per WP:V and WP:N, the subject seems to be notable in few sources which have conflict and confusion b/t the politician and actor. — CutestPenguinHangout 17:10, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
