The result was redirect to List of comic book superpowers#Heat vision. Of course, anyone is free to take further editorial actions with respect to this page, which includes recreating it with expanded sourcing, changing it into a disambiguation page, or merging the content that was there. Heat vision

This is an expired prod that I declined to delete, because it's inevitable that there would be further discussion. Orginial nominator's rationale was "Heat vision does not meet wikipedia notability standards for a work of fiction. Essentially the topic does not seem to be covered in any secondary sources. (The single reference on the page is to a primary source.) The article could essentially be summarized in a single sentence in individual characters' articles in a section about their powers." Delete. Each fictional "superhero" has a different variation of "heat vision" so there is no sense in an article covering them - it should be contained in the main character articles. On its own "heat vision" is not notable. Unusual? Quite ^TalkQu 20:27, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
