- Redirect, although I'm not entirely convinced what the best target is. Planets of the Hainish Cycle is an obvious choice, but quite frankly, that's probably just waiting its turn for TTN to nominate it for deletion. That leaves me divided whether the best target would be Hainish Cycle (the article about the setting in general) or The Left Hand of Darkness (the work in which this particular setting element is most significant). - Redirect to Hainish Cycle, where this fictional element can be better covered with WP:DUEWEIGHT. – sgeureka t•c 09:15, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
- Weak keep as unlike many other Planets of the Hainish Cycle (which, as Squeamish Ossifrage predicted, has also been sent to AfD), Gethen figures prominently in multiple works. However, I freely admit my bias in this regard, having chosen Gethen as my last name based on The Left Hand of Darkness, so would not oppose a redirect, preferably to that book (which is a featured article) rather than to Hainish Cycle. - Delete. Fails to establish notability (no non-primary sources). Not a very plausible search term, but my redirect choice if any would be to The Left Hand of Darkness. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:53, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
- Actually there are three non-primary sources cited: The Guardian, The New Yorker, and Slate. Funcrunch (talk) 06:16, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
