Except The Assam Tribune ref (more than an essay, suspicious promotion), all are primary sources. Fails WP:ACADEMIC, WP:ANYBIO, WP:RS and fails minimum 3 coverage refs. - Signed by NeverTry4Me Talk 14:07, 18 July 2022 (UTC)

- Keep. Heavy citations on Google Scholar, IEEE Fellow, and named professorship are obvious passes of WP:PROF #C1, #C3, and #C5, respectively, so the nominator's WP:VAGUEWAVE towards that notability guideline shows at best a clear lack of attention. Primary sourcing is not an issue for academic notability, which does not rely on depth of independent sourcing. —David Eppstein (talk) 16:35, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
- Keep IEEE Fellow is a quintessential pass of one of the easiest wiki-notability criteria to verify. Likewise for holding a Curators' Distinguished Professor title. The citation profile looks strong, too, with 9 publications having over 100 citations apiece, the top two entries being books that have also had published reviews [1][2][3]. The page needs de-CV-ification, but that's not a matter for this forum. XOR'easter (talk) 17:55, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
